What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Manager position at Beach Island Marina Investment Partners?
The Marina Manager facilitates all property operations and maintains guest satisfaction. The Marina Manager must understand all facets of the property operations and guide the team through their daily and long term objectives. Guests and staff must be able to trust and respect the Marina Manager’s judgment and decision making capabilities.
The Marina Manager is responsible for the following:

Maintaining the cleanliness of the property and docks, including loose and bagged trash
Maintaining the cleanliness of employee and guest facing work areas
Maintaining quality of marina equipment
Understanding and training on marina management, booking, and point-of-sale systems
Being knowledgeable and able to communicate contract requirements
Enforcing all Federal, State, and Local laws and marina contract requirements
Leasing of slips
Tracking revenue and expenses, paying bills, and managing marina finances
Resolving guest concerns
Managing staff from all departments
Managing property spending
Hiring staff as necessary
Training staff for new skills and roles
Knowing and enforcing marina rules, guidelines and lease terms
Knowing and enforcing company policies for staff
Maintaining quality of property and rental equipment
Being knowledgeable and able to communicate water laws and rental safety guidelines
Assisting guests and tenants with general needs
Informing guests and tenants of marina and property services and offerings
Observing the state of the docks including loose boats and ropes
Observing safety and facility needs, such as fire extinguishers and water leaks
Communicate observations and concerns regarding the state of the property and equipment to other departments and management.
