Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team at Beach Manufacturing Company. In this role, located in an undisclosed location, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of welded components using precision measuring instruments and micrometers.
• Evaluate welding processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other quality management protocols.
• Perform quality audits and document findings to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Utilize vision inspection systems to assess weld quality and identify defects.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality control measures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on welding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welding Inspector or in a similar quality control role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management principles.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers.
• Experience with quality audits and implementing corrective actions is preferred.
• Familiarity with vision inspection systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for evaluating weld integrity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and provide constructive feedback.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
