Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their visit. You will play a crucial role in managing patient interactions, handling administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers in a dental clinic.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix.
- Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information.
- Handle medical collections and insurance verifications efficiently.
- Provide information to patients regarding services, procedures, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline patient flow and enhance overall patient experience.
- Utilize computerized systems for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar healthcare software is preferred.

- Knowledge of medical coding practices is a plus.
- Experience in a dental clinic or hospital environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
