What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Beach Properties of Hilton Head?
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years in the hospitality industry and/or property management industry. Candidate should be career driven, able to perform in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multitask efficiently. Candidate should possess a high level of communication skills and the ability to problem solve on a daily basis. Candidate should also have reliable transportation and will be expected to use transportation for business needs during the work hours.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Make sure rental properties are in excellent condition for guest and owner arrivals by maintaining daily workflow, inspection, maintenance and cleaning of units.
- Resolve guest and owner issues through creative thinking and punctual follow-up.
- Participate in the office workflow on a daily basis to make sure company runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Track sales to help each property reach its rental goal.
- Create annual property evaluations and work with owners to provide better rental income.
Requirements:
- Must be a highly disciplined individual – punctual, reliable, with leadership skills.
- Must be highly accountable and responsible.
- Must be highly organized in planning work with a vision of what you want/need to accomplish.
- Must be no excuses, results oriented.
- Have strong computer skills, especially with Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver’s license
Other:
- Work schedule could be more than 40 hours a week and more than 5 days a week depending on occupancy.
- Expected to work weekends during the summer months and occasional weekends in the office season.
- Required to carry company emergency phone on a rotational basis.
- This position will have a salary base compensation and benefits with bonus opportunities. Medical benefits and 401K enrollment are available.
- Candidate must become a licensed property manager within one year of employment, if not already licensed.
- Develop and implement plans to resolve issues.
- Creative guest issue resolution is key to success.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
