We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. We are looking for someone who is located in the central or north area of New Mexico. The primary responsibility of this role is to market, service, and sell HardRock’s Rockwyrm Air Hammer System and supporting tooling. HardRock’s American Made products deliver diameter and distance with the speed and accuracy that Drilling Contractors demand. If you have experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling Industry and are looking for an opportunity with unlimited potential income, we want to talk with you. Responsibilities:
- Train and become fully familiar with HardRock’s Rockwyrm Air Hammer system and peripheral tooling, including features, benefits, and technical specifications
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, cold-calling, and networking in the Horizontal Directional Drilling Industry.
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and product developments.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling Industry is preferred
- 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the industrial equipment or heavy machinery industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively, often on short notice.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
