Housekeeper

Beach Street Inn is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our guest rooms. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
• Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in line with hospitality industry expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed for cleaning duties.
• A commitment to providing outstanding service in a hospitality environment.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
