What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant - Endodontics position at Beaches Endodontics?
This position entails: greeting and interacting professionally with patients; taking digital x-rays and CT scans; assisting chair-side for endodontic procedures and surgeries; setting up and tearing down operatories before and after procedures (pursuant to OSHA standards); sterilizing; and stocking and refilling supplies in sterilization room as well as operatories. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Specific endodontic assisting experience--while helpful-- is NOT required; we are willing to train the right candidate with general dental assisting experience. Working hours are Monday - Thursday, approximately 8:30am - 4:30pm, totaling approximately 31-33 hours per week. Benefits include: paid major holidays; paid lunch time; paid time off totaling 56 hours after one year employment and 96 hours paid time off after 2 years; matching retirement plan after one year of employment; 75% of health insurance paid after 3 months of employment .
