Overall responsibilities include :
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters, including medical history, physical exams, assessments, treatment plans, and physician instructions.
- Assist the healthcare provider by managing electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Support real-time charting during patient visits to enhance the provider's workflow and improve patient care efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth clinic flow.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including faxing, scanning, and follow-up documentation.
