What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry position at Beachmere Inn?
After 20 years of service, our lead in laundry has retired. We are now looking for that special someone who will take this department that we all rely on and make it their own.
*We have (2) industrial sized 65lb washers and (3) 75lb dryers on site.
*We inspect, pre-treat, wash and fold on site.
*This department is critical to making sure our housekeeping team has what they need to service the rooms. You will stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the day, a great workout without a treadmill.
*We often work as a team to get the job done.
*Some flexibility is available on hours, but weekends are a must.
*Prior experience would be important but not critical, as we will train the right candidate.
