Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while on the road. Whether you are driving a shuttle, limousine, van, dump truck, or tractor-trailer, your primary focus will be ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service.
Duties
- Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttles, limousines, vans, dump trucks, forklifts, and tractor-trailers.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred for certain vehicle types.
- Experience in shuttle driving, limousine services, van driving, dump truck operation, forklift operation, or tractor-trailer driving is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
- A commitment to safety and a clean driving record is essential.
