Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing -
Do you want to take the first step in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?
Training will be provided!!
We provide you with the education and the skills to become a Patient Care Attendant. Once a Patient Care Attendant you can work side by side with a Certified Nursing Assistant and perform the following duties :
- Make an Occuppied or Unoccupied Bed
- Pass Fresh Ice Water
- Pass Meal Tray / Open cartons & packets
- Check Resident Temps
- Perform 1 (One) person transfers
- Reposition resident in bed / float heels
- Transfer resident to a wheelchair using a gait belt
- Oral Care / Denture Care (alert residents)
- Provide a Bed Bath / Perineal / Catheter Care
- Change an incontinent brief
- Assist resident with dressing
- Assist with hearing Aids
- Assist resident to bathroom / bedpan / urinal (1 person assist)
You will be required to pass the Florida State CNA Exam within 4 months.
Other Requirements :
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a Level II background check
Must be able to pass a drug screen and be medically cleared
