BASIC FUNCTION :
The moment a guest enters our hotel they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. Our entire team loves to serve and our Guest Services associates provide exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. We perform all Front Office related functions including but not limited to checking guests in and out, maintaining guest records, cash handling, organizing activities as requested, monitoring guest satisfaction, problem resolution, etc. We maintain a high standard of integrity, service and hospitality at all times to promote the Beachview Club's culture with guests and co-workers. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY :
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly. Requires the ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner. Requires the ability to pay attention to detail and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Requires thorough knowledge of Beachview Club Hotel’s policies and procedures. Requires the ability to handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in normal day to day activities. Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Pre-Arrival Calls, Arrival day and arrival messages, mid-stay check ins, Pre-Departure messages
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to hotel guest.
- Keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
- Make, Confirm or cancel reservations for guests.
- Check in / check outs in accordance with the hotel handling policies.
- Issue room keys and escort arrivals to their room.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make charges for guests for late check outs, early departures, market items and pet fees as needed.
- Enforce hotel check in and check out policy.
- Greet guests in a professional and cordial manner.
- Answer all calls within 3 rings or less.
- Prepare room lists and advise housekeeping staff of when rooms have been vacated
- Transmit messages timely to the hotel management team.
- Anticipate guests needs and provide a friction-free experience.
- Assist your colleagues as and when needed
