General Description
- The Housekeeping Team lead oversees their Teams daily assigned housekeeping tasks. Responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that vacation rental properties are clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards. The Team leader will clean, supervise, train, and motivate the team, while ensuring that assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
Your Role:
- Monitor the performance of Housekeepers, assures that there are sufficient supplies. Check cleanliness of rental properties in accordance to checklist.
- Complete your assigned cleaning task while keeping in mind the progress of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Clean Vacation Rental Properties and maintain home or facility appearance.
- Clean kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.
- Keeps public access areas clean and maintains them according to employer standards.
- Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Keeps housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.
- Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and maintenance
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Reliable Transportation
- Breezeway experience a plus
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. The position may also require the ability to climb stairs and operate cleaning equipment.
