The Beachwood City School District has a vacancy for a teacher for Extended School Year (ESY) services at the Hilltop Summer Camp. Beachwood Schools have partnered with the Beachwood City Camp to develop a full-day ESY opportunity for eligible students in grades K-8. Students will receive ESY instruction from 9 am-11 : 30 am, and then transition to the Beachwood Camp where they will participate in lunch and afternoon activities led and provided by the Beachwood City Camp.

Instructional Planning :
Design instructional lessons & goals using appropriate resources and knowledge of students' skills, knowledge, language proficiency, learning styles, and special needs to effectively present learning objectives and achieve desired outcomesCreate lessons & unit structures that support the instructional outcomes, engage students in meaningful learning and are varied and appropriate to the studentsMaintain current, accurate daily / weekly lesson plans that align with state standards and the District's adopted courses of student / curriculum goals; ensure plans are available for substitute teachers when necessaryAssist with the preparation of IEP, 504 and / or other interventions for assigned students meeting eligibility requirementsDevelop appropriate formative and summative assessments to provide accurate and meaningful data to inform instruction and to adjust curriculum / instructional methods as necessary to enhance student learningEffectively collaborate with colleagues to incorporate research-based, exemplary instructional practices in the classroomInstruction and Assessment :
