- Establish relationships with program directors or center level leadership and meet in-person (Teams) regularly to discuss issues impacting assigned center(s).
- Escalate issues to RCM leadership may impact center operations and assist in establishing center level protocols regarding overall RCM.
- Present center(s) KPI status at monthly RCM leadership meeting.
- Report out center level findings, accolades, challenges, resolutions, etc. with quantitative data (i.e. AR, payor issues, operational issues).
- Provide RCM oversight over assigned center(s) in relation to non-generated claims, rejected claims, and any issues that may impact the center.
- Send weekly updates to program directors(s) for assigned centers regarding issues that impact claim production and payments.
- Assist in setting up payer rules to assist in clean claims and claims scrubbing.
- Supervise, train and educate assigned center level billing staff on proper AR follow up process, charge entry, payment posting, patient calls, etc. according to established protocols.
- Monitor staff productivity and quality and provide routine feedback and educational opportunities for improvement, if needed.
- Provide feedback to RCM leadership regarding staff routinely and as needed for performance evaluations.
- Assist in providing detailed feedback when performance improvement plans are needed for center level billing staff.
- Establish relationships with CBO claims, reconciliation, refund leadership teams, etc. and meet regularly if issues arise regarding assigned centers, follow through with resolution process if needed, and escalate issues with RCM leadership if necessary.
- Run monthly AR reports for assigned staff and direct staff on process, and train as needed.
- Share issues impacting revenue with payer/denial issues to center and RCM leadership.
- Monitor overall RCM process and address any concerns shared by center leadership.
- Ensure that center level billing staff completes work timely and efficiently.
- Maintain weekly meetings with assigned billing staff to discuss and address issues that impact revenue and/or workflow.
- Provide higher level of oversight/resolution with RCM and operational workflows.
- Maintain positive working relationships.
- Communicate routinely with RCM leadership.
- Escalate and/or report out issues to RCM leadership.
- Any other duties as assigned.
