Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Records Specialist to join our team that will support The Holiner Group in Dallas, Texas. The Part-Time Medical Records Specialist is expected to work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

What does the Part Time Medical Records Specialist do? (including but not limited to)
As a Part Time Medical Records Specialist, you are responsible for maintaining and updating patient medical records in compliance with industry regulations and standards. They will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical records, as well as responding to requests for medical information from healthcare providers and patients.
The Part Time Medical Records Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of patient care and the efficient operation of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required. - Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Respond to requests for medical information from healthcare providers and patients
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the quality of patient care
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in medical records management or related field
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for medical records management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
