Beacon Behavioral Partners is looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join our team! This full-time position is in Oxford, Mississippi and will support The Right Track Group. As the Admissions Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the intake process for individuals seeking mental health treatment, including initial contact, screening potential clients, verifying insurance benefits, collecting necessary documentation, coordinating with clinical teams to facilitate admission, and ensuring a smooth transition into treatment programs, all while maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Screen applicants according to criteria set forth by the company and reject or accept patients appropriately.
- Obtain patient information by interviewing patients, clarifying material, and completing applications.
- Resolve complaints by investigating the matter and recommend changes in the company’s procedural policies if needed.
- Stay current on the most relevant and important information in the field by attending conferences and reading materials.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Obtain, summarize, and analyze trends in order to create admissions reports.
- Accept new tasks as they arise and constantly explore opportunities to grow within the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year of outpatient healthcare experience.
Physical Demands:
This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required.
