This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Outpatient Operations and is dedicated to ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while upholding exceptional operational standards across our clinics. The candidate should be willing to travel to various clinics as needed for training and support.

What does the Regional Operations Coordinator do? (including but not limited to)

Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Business Development
- Identify potential markets and create strategies to attract new clients, partnerships, and referral sources.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, including mental health clinics, hospitals, and community organizations.
- Establish new partnerships and referral networks to expand the client base and increase revenue.
- Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of mental health services and establish the organization as a trusted provider.
- Operations & Project Management
- Lead and coordinate operational projects aimed at improving clinic efficiency and patient care.
- Develop and implement process improvements and identify opportunities for service innovation and expansion.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Analyze operational data and metrics to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to document, track, and report on project progress and outcomes.
- Provide training and support to office staff on operational procedures and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Patient Experience & Advocacy
- Foster strong relationships with patients to enhance their care experience and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Assess patient charts and work with providers to determine the appropriateness of care.
- Act as an intermediary between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and understanding of patient needs.
- Effectively communicate clinical information and medical necessity criteria to treatment coordinators, facility managers, and healthcare providers.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with professional standards, policies, and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the organization's reputation by exploring opportunities to improve services and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a mental health medical office or patient-facing role, with additional experience in project management or operations preferred.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Practices: Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations, as well as a basic understanding of mental health conditions and healthcare documentation systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams; experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Physical Demands:
This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required.
