Job Description
This position requires driving a flatbed truck with a Moffett for deliveries within 25-100 miles of Charlotte, NC. The driver will work Monday to Friday, with approximate start times of 6:30am.
Responsibilities
- The driver must prioritize safety at all times and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Pre-inspect the truck and load materials accurately.
- Communicate regularly with dispatchers and report potential hazards to branch management.
- Maintain an up-to-date logbook and adhere to safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a valid CDL A license.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience driving a commercial motor vehicle.
- Prior experience handling building materials and operating a forklift is highly preferred.
- Candidates must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- No convictions or offenses involving DUI, DWI, careless or reckless driving within the past 5 years.
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements.
