What You Will Do
- Train, manage, and develop the warehouse team, including CDL drivers, delivery helpers, and warehouse partners
- Devise and implement effective procedures for daily warehouse operations in line with company guidelines
- Collaborate with management to identify and address operational issues
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by enforcing company policies and procedures
- Direct all incoming and outgoing material shipments, ensuring organized and efficient handling
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs, suggest inventory changes, and ensure accurate control and record-keeping
- Manage material movement and transfers, regularly spot-checking inventory
- Organize and maintain the warehouse, yard, and store layout for maximum efficiency and safety
- Work closely with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure adherence to safe operational procedures and timely reporting
- Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and make recommendations for improvements as needed
