Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including SEC requirements
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards, including financial auditing and fraud prevention detection.
- Monitor changes in legislation related to the Cybersecurity, Anti-money Laundering and other relevant regulations, ensuring timely updates to company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related issues, fostering a culture of integrity within the organization.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and examinations.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in public accounting or a compliance role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of SEC and/or FINRA principles, financial auditing processes, fraud prevention detection techniques, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
