Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Certification in Chemistry, 7 - 12;
- Knowledge/experience in proactive classroom management, differentiated instruction and supporting the needs of diverse learners in the classroom;
- Knowledge/experience in Adolescent Education at high school level preferred;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Implements effective classroom management and student engagement strategies to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Implements culturally responsive teaching practices to support learner needs;
- Implements effective student and family engagement strategies;
- Implements strategies for collaboration with colleagues in a high school team model.
