What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Manager position at Beacon Collision Center?
Body Shop Manager establishes objectives for the department, jointly with his/her supervisor, and builds plan to attain these objectives.
Responsible for hiring and developing a strong team.
Build strong relationships with Insurance Companies and customers
Sets high standard for honesty and ethics within the organization
Manages shop to provides a high-quality repair and reduces returns to the shop.
Handles customer complaints as soon as possible.
Proficient with C-ONE and other common industry software tools is plus
Checks how work on the vehicles in the shop is progressing, and ensures that
guidelines concerning repairs and safety are observed.
Verifies the quality of the completed work.
Verifies and follows up on body shop customer accounts, to ensure that
payments take place within an acceptable time frame.
Ensures that the appropriate safety equipment is available and that it is being
adequately used.
Conducts formal evaluations of the performance of personnel reporting to
him/her, at set intervals.
Understands, keeps abreast of, and observes federal and provincial regulations
and municipal bylaws governing body shop operations and occupational health
and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
