Job Function / Purpose :
The Service Sales Representative role is focused on organizing and expanding service and software maintenance sales for the service department. The primary responsibilities of this position involve supporting our clients through proactive engagements, ensuring service-related needs are being addressed, and working to create long-term maintenance packages for new and existing clients. The role also carries a focus toward maximizing company profits within a designated geographic area by selling to current and new clients. Other responsibilities include collaborating with the service and operations teams and may require coordinating third-party contractors or consultants to implement solutions as planned. The salary range for this position is $75,000 USD plus Commission - $95,000 USD plus Commission, commensurate on relevant experience.
Key Accountabilities :
- Selling to new and existing customers within the west territory.
- Creating and executing a service sales plan that meets or exceeds set sales targets.
- Optimizing and maximizing time and overall efficiency.
- Ongoing contact with customers in the west sales territory to continuously understand their evolving needs.
- Educating customers on the company's entire line card offering.
- Expanding customer understanding and use of company product and service capabilities.
- Identifying and pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities in the west sales territory.
- Conducting cold calls to acquire new service-related business.
- Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
- Championing company's value proposition in the west sales territory and brand within the local community.
- Being regularly available and responsive to customers real-time needs.
- Identifying and executing local marketing activities to enhance local presence and grow sales.
- Assist with and organize current / active service agreements for the company.
- Follow all processes and procedures in accordance with the company standards to ensure that a quality product is maintained and delivered within the predetermined time and cost.
- Be the forerunner in assuring customer satisfaction by exceeding customers expectations.
- Work with service and pre-con to prepare requests for proposals and conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of services and products.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing managed services proposals and estimates.
