As a Housing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for assisting clients in securing and maintaining safe and affordable housing. Your role will involve working closely with clients to assess their housing needs, developing housing plans, and coordinating with various housing providers and community resources. You will be the main point of contact for clients throughout their housing journey, providing support and guidance to ensure they achieve their housing stability goals. Please note this is not a remote position.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at supporting clients in their housing needs. You will need to be highly organized, empathetic, and skilled in navigating housing resources. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients and housing providers will be essential.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' housing needs and eligibility.
- Develop individualized housing plans tailored to each client's specific circumstances.
- Coordinate with landlords, housing agencies, and community resources to secure housing placements.
- Assist clients with completing housing applications and gathering necessary documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and case management to ensure clients maintain stable housing.
- Advocate for clients' needs with housing providers and other community resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
