Role: Branch Manager
Location: Roanoke, Virginia
The Branch Manager supports Beacon Credit Union's mission, "Dedicated to Our Members' Financial Success," by delivering exceptional service. They identify members' financial needs and recommend suitable solutions.
They handle and close consumer loan applications, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Understanding the five C's of credit, they consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
Knowledgeable about all Beacon CU products and services, they apply Mike Neill techniques to enhance member experience and achieve success.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Team: Manage jobs, coach, and ensure compliance.
- Develop Business: Focus on lending, deposits, and community engagement.
- Handle Loans: Process applications and complete documentation.
- Lead and Achieve Goals: Meet service standards and branch goals.
- Balance Transactions: Oversee daily operations and resolve issues.
- Resolve Issues: Address member requests and provide financial counsel.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
- 5-10 years of related experience, including preparatory positions.
- Supervisory experience.
- Proven sales experience.
- 2-5 years of banking experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Two-year college degree. Four-year college degree preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration on the NMLS site, with annual renewal and updates for changes.

- High level of trust and diplomacy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential dialogues with customers, reports, and vendors.
