About the Role - The Branch Manager supports Beacon Credit Union's mission, "Dedicated to Our Members' Financial Success," by delivering exceptional service. They identify members' financial needs and recommend suitable solutions. They handle and close consumer loan applications, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Understanding the five C's of credit, they consistently meet and exceed sales goals. Knowledgeable about all Beacon CU products and services, they apply Mike Neill techniques to enhance member experience and achieve success. We are looking for someone ready to expand Beacon's opportunities through community involvement and being 'Dedicated to Our Members' Financial Success'.
Responsibilities
- Manage Team : Manage jobs, coach, and ensure compliance.
- Develop Business : Focus on lending, deposits, and community engagement.
- Handle Loans : Process applications and complete documentation.
- Lead and Achieve Goals : Meet service standards and branch goals.
- Balance Transactions : Oversee daily operations and resolve issues.
- Resolve Issues : Address member requests and provide financial counsel.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of related experience, including preparatory positions.
- Supervisory experience.
- Community Involvement.
- Proven sales experience.
- 2-5 years of banking experience.
Required Skills
- Two-year college degree.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration on the NMLS site, with annual renewal and updates for changes.
Preferred Skills
- Four-year college degree preferred.
