Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a Director of Nursing for a position available in our Columbia, MO area. Our facility has been growing over the last year and looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to work with our staff, families, and residents. Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage nursing administration, including scheduling, budgeting, and staffing.
- Implement and monitor patient care protocols and quality assurance measures.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care in various settings, including assisted living and hospice.
- Provide guidance and training to nursing staff on EHR systems and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Proven management and supervisory experience in nursing administration
- Strong knowledge of EMR systems and PCC systems
- In-depth understanding of nursing practices, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident's rights
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, and hospice care
- Knowledge of Medicare and MDS processes
- Ability to lead and mentor nursing staff effectively
