Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking Regional Nurse Consultant, Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee, monitor and provide support to staff of our North region facilities location, Columbia Manor, Ashley Manor, Valley View Health & Rehabilitation centers. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, well-trained professional who is able to provide necessary superior nursing oversight. You will also be compassionate, cool-tempered, and will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s assessments, care and treatment plans to ensure accuracy, and advise of necessary modification if needed.
- Collaborate with facility nursing personnel for routine and critical educational components to maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Review and discuss weekly required report submitted by each Direct of Nursing.
- Participate on pharmaceutical calls.
- Monitor and evaluate Dietary recommendation by the Dietician.
- Assist with developing appropriate plan of correction with facility staff for adequate corrections and observation.
Skills
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of state and federal long-term care guideline
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid nursing license
