Shift: Days (7:30am-4:00pm)
Department: Housekeeping
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning and housekeeping equipment
- Ability to read/write comprehensive English and document observations
- Ability to verbally communicate with patients, staff and general public in a manner that is understandable and with dignity, compassion and respect
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior cleaning experience as a housekeeper, custodian, janitor or cleaner.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning common areas and resident rooms
- Assist with light maintenance
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Promote positive public relations for the facility
- Perform other housekeeping tasks as required
- Attend housekeeper meetings as required
