Description
Beacon Hill Club is looking for Part-Time and Seasonal candidates who are passionate about providing excellent service and enjoy working with people. We strive to personalize the dining experience by creating a rapport with membership and providing first-class service in a friendly and efficient manner.
The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for meeting the needs of members and guests in a prompt and professional manner upon arrival and throughout their dining experience at the Club. Availability must include weekends, evenings, and some holidays as needed. Come join our team!
Job Tasks and Duties:
- Seat guests, present menus, and make food and beverage recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders from members and guests and answer related questions
- Greet and continually check-in to ensure member and guest satisfaction
- Place all orders into the Point of Sale system accurately
- Perform light cleaning duties such as trash removal in the kitchen and dining room area
- Clear and reset tables and chairs in a timely manner
- Assist with restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies when needed
- Participate in training sessions, as required
- Assist Clubhouse Manager and Assistant Clubhouse Manager with other duties, as requested
Requirements:
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends
- Ability to multi-task while taking care of guests needs and maintaining composure
- Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, but not required
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 30lbs.
- Exposure to adverse weather conditions
