Lead Cashier Job Description
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6 PM
*Bilingual Fluency with Spanish and English is required for this position

At this healthcare facility, the Lead Cashier is responsible for providing kind and empathetic service to all patients and visitors -- greeting with a warm welcome, assisting with the management of day to day cash from parking services, and ensuring all the cash is accounted for and kept safe.
Beacon Hill Hospitality Lead Cashiers are true customer service professionals who inherently love to help others and are happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with a hospital visit. Additionally, they support their teammates on a daily basis by providing professional direction and ensuring coverage at their assigned location(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Manage and regulates day to day cash flow
- Greeting customers and resolving customer complaints
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Balancing cash register and ensuring all money is accounted
- Checking stock and refilling when needed
- Find moments to go above and beyond by anticipating patient and visitor's needs
- Assist with wayfinding and ensure work environment is clean, safe, and uncluttered
- Daily oversight of Cashiers to ensure optimal guest-engagement and cash handling
- Actively participate in process improvement
- Primarily responsible for daily reconciliations to be assessed and reviewed by the Financial Supervisor
- Responsible for shift-coverage in the event of a call out on the Cashier Team
- Participates in coaching and training opportunities related to the Cashier Team
- Primary employee responsible for supporting the Financial Manager and Account Manager
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):
- Possesses exceptional customer service skills
- Maintains a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper
- Bilingual fluency with Spanish & English

- Cashiers are regularly required to run, stand, walk, and sit.

Salary : $18 - $19
