Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a locally based consulting firm in the search for an Accounting Associate to join their team. This position will report directly to the controller and will be responsible for handling several aspects of the organization's accounting operations. This role will be repsonsible for both AP and AR invoicing, processing expense reports, and handling credit card reconciliations. Additionally, the Accounting Associate will generate financial reports and assist in the month-end process. This is a hybrid position that will require multiple days per week onsite in their Washington DC based office. If interested, please don't hesitate to apply with your most up-to-date resume!
Job Responsibilities
- Full cycle AP invoicing : keying in line items, assigning GL codes, processing ACH / Wire transfer payments
- Managing AR aging report, processing incoming invoices, handling any physical deposits
- Process expense reports and reimbursements for internal employees
- Handle assigned account reconciliations, including both credit card and bank reconciliaitons
- Assist in the generation of financial reports and the overall month-end process
- Provide administrative support to facilitate needs of the office manager and the accounting / finance team
- Additional duties as requested
