Job Responsibilities :
- Supervise and train accounting staff (Two direct reports - 2 Staff - AP and Payroll) ensuring team alignment with organizational policies and fostering professional growth
- Lead the monthly accounting closing process, including journal entry processing, general ledger account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements.
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, CFR, CAS, and other relevant regulations.
- Drive improvements in month-end close and reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and data accuracy.
- Oversee the preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Manage data integrity for accounting systems, ensuring operational reliability and addressing software and hardware issues.
