Accounting Manager

Beacon Hill has partnered with a local client seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead a team in managing day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of GAAP, and experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Nice to have: Experience in the healthcare industry.
