Job Title : Document Processor

Location : Saint Paul, MN

Position Type : Temporary to Hire

Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 45 PM (slight variations considered based on candidate needs)

Hybrid : Typically Tuesday and Wednesday in office, subject to change based on events and holidays

Position Overview :

Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Document Processor to support their Client Data Exchange team within the Technology Department. The team is responsible for processing and managing customer data for group life insurance eligibility and coverage management. This role provides additional support to balance the load across the team and ensure efficient processing of client files, particularly during busy periods such as annual enrollments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Track, monitor, and process files accurately using the Client File Management (CFM) system
  • Ensure scheduled file transfer events are on time and properly processed through the system
  • Set up and maintain secure file transfers using Enterprise Managed File Transfer solutions
  • Analyze client data and address customer inquiries regarding file discrepancies or data issues
  • Communicate directly with clients during annual enrollment to verify or resolve issues with received files
  • Manage workload to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and performance guarantees for internal and external customers
  • Resolve technical issues related to file exchanges and processing in a timely and accurate manner

Technical Skills and Qualifications :

Required :

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with FIG and CPL products or Group Insurance
  • Familiarity with mainframe systems and transaction processing systems
  • Experience with .txt file formats
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
