What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group?
Our client, a nonprofit for seniors located in greater Boston, is looking for a part-time medical receptionist to join their team! This role is onsite in Roslindale for roughly 16-20 hours / week. Experience in the medical field is preferred for this role. Free parking is available onsite, and this role pays up to 23 / hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Check in Patients and collect insurance information, required paperwork
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Answer and respond to phone and email inquiries related to department
- Receiving / processing / distribution of mail
- Data entry / database work
- Administrative projects as they arise
- Strong MS office
- Ability to respect confidentiality, and strong customer service skill set required
