What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill is working with a long-standing client to bring in an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist with year-end close. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger. You will handle invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of payments to ensure accurate and timely receipt of funds from clients/customers.
Job Description:
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoices contain the necessary information and are in compliance with company policies and client agreements.
- Maintain and update accounts receivable records and customer information.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on outstanding invoices to facilitate timely payments.
- Implement collection strategies to reduce delinquency and minimize bad debt risk.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Reconcile payments received with invoices and update records accordingly.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between payments and outstanding balances.
