What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a Frederick based client in the search for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This position will require a strong GL accounting background with experience processing billing, AP, and AR. Candidates with project management / contract experience are encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities
Establish and verify project contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage subconsultant agreements and process related invoices.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently.
Oversee collections and monitor outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
Upload project invoices to the Client vendor portal before the month-end deadline.
Prepare and distribute financial reports on a routine basis, including standardized, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports as needed.
Assist in the ongoing financial oversight and management of assigned projects.
Maintain and organize both electronic and physical project-related documents for proper record-keeping.
Use internal tracking software to monitor departmental leads for proposals and change orders.
