Position Details:
- Title: Sr DevOps Engineer
- Duration: 9 months (with potential for extension and conversion)
- Location: Schaumburg Office (Hybrid work model - 2 days/week onsite, with plans to increase)
About the Role:
As our client's DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud infrastructure automation initiatives. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing Terraform modules for Azure and AWS environments, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.Key
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure and AWS
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Terraform modules into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies
- Continuously improve processes and stay updated with the latest cloud technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC principles
- Strong knowledge of Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary) cloud platforms
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
