Our client, a public charter school, is seeking a direct-hire Director of Development to join their team!
The Job:
- Lead the development of grant strategies that are aligned with funding needs.
- Draft grant proposals, inquiry letters, project concepts, and reports.
- Coordinate prospecting, review opportunities, and develop proposals.
- Project manage and delegate tasks to streamline processes.
- Handle all administrative aspects of grant writing, fundraising, and documentation.
About You:
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- 7 years of relevant development experience in a nonprofit setting are required.
- Experience with fundraising software and CRMs is required.
- Experience in a K12 sector is desired.
- Creative problem-solver with technological savviness.
- Strong proposal, research, and reporting skills.
About the Position:
- $100K-$125K, depending on experience.
- On-site 5x/week in Washington, DC.
