What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSQ Supply Chain Specialist position at Beacon Hill?
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent FSQ Supply Chain on internal and customer facing teams, providing compliance expertise
- Partner with business and procurement teams on food safety compliance questions
- Maintain current supplier database and utilize Tracegains/Ross in support of information collection
- Proactively manage annual supplier performance reviews
- Work in conjunction with operations as the SME for role and proactively educate facilities on best practice and new provisions that may impact sites in the future
- FSQ technical support for product trials and launches
- FSQ management and Sr. FSQ QE support
- Supplier approvals and risk assessments
- 20% travel – Potential supplier audits and inter-plant travel
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
- Experience in Supply Chain Compliance
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn detailed processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year BS degree from an accredited university in Food Science, Biology, or technically related field.
- Experience in highly regulated industries
- Have the physical ability to occasionally lift/carry, push/pull, reach overhead, climb, squat/bend/kneel, and frequently sit, stand, and walk/move about
