Technical Business Analyst

Hybrid onsite in West Des Moines (4 days onsite/1 day WFH)
Contract through 11/15/2025 (Extensions/Conversion possible after that)


What You'll Do

✅ Research and analyze technical architecture, APIs, and automation trends, translating insights for leadership.
✅ Create executive-ready presentations, reports, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
✅ Work with vendors, industry groups, and internal teams on standards, governance, and AI risk management.
✅ Manage and track key strategic technology initiatives to align with business priorities.
✅ Help define and document insurance technology best practices, such as open API models.

What We're Looking For

🔹 Strong analytical skills - able to bridge technical and business needs.
🔹 Experience in insurance or financial services (a plus!).
🔹 Ability to read and summarize technical diagrams, APIs, and system documentation (without needing to code).
🔹 PowerPoint & Excel expert - must turn complex topics into clear, compelling presentations.
🔹 Excellent written & verbal communication - able to simplify technical concepts for executives.
🔹 Self-starter with a mix of technical curiosity and business acumen - someone who can engage with both IT and leadership.
