Lead Project Engineer - Strategic Projects
Location: Madison, WI
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering and construction phases of two 100 MW Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) plants through 2027.
- Manage technical reviews of engineering drawings, specifications, and deliverables from project stakeholders (OE, EOR, OEM, builder).
- Ensure compliance with project standards and internal specifications.
- Facilitate engineering design discussions and resolve technical issues.
- Track project deliverables and hold stakeholders accountable for timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to align project needs across disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls).
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and address scope gaps.
- Respond to RFIs, design changes, and change orders during construction.
- Review final project deliverables, including O&M manuals, As-Built drawings, and spare parts lists.
- Travel as needed for onsite investigations and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: 10 years in power generation engineering.
- Experience in large power plant construction and engineering drawing reviews.
- Broad knowledge across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls engineering disciplines.
