Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a Legislative Research Analyst to support their team for one year!
About the Job:
- Analyze congressional committee markups and collect relevant information.
- Record congressional floor activity.
- Maintain calendar and directory content.
- Collaborate on new initiatives.
- Complete additional tasks and special projects as needed.
About You:
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- 2 years of research experience is required.
- Experience on the hill and summarizing legislative documents is preferred.
- Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
About the Position:
- Pays $21/hr
- Contract lasts one year.
- 40 hours/week while Congress is in session.
- 20 hours/week while Congress is out of session.
- Arlington, VA
