What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Support Analyst/Project Leader position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill's client, an AM Law 200 firm is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst/Project Leader. This person will serve as the primary support for advanced requests and provides advanced technical support in processing, filtering, ESI imports, load file manipulation, advanced search queries, STRs and culling measures, and database design, production, exports, etc., to efficiently meet the demands of case teams and clients.
- Location: Remote, but candidates must be located in a West Coast State
- Anticipated Start: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing, several months
- Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
- Hourly pay: $45-$65 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the work product of Analysts and Sr. Analysts as needed
- Exhibits superior organizational skills regarding workflow management
- Is adept at communicating with legal teams and can clearly communicate issues and proactively develop solutions
- Has superior knowledge of best practices regarding database management and how to properly organize and structure data collected, inbound data volumes, productions from 3rd parties, non-parties, opposing counsel, co-counsel, etc., in compliance with SOPs
- Has a working understanding of forensic collection tools to collect from various data sources, including social media, various email platforms, laptops, and cell phones
- Manages multiple matters and responds to requests in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree and/or at least 7 years of relevant experience in eDiscovery or technical litigation support at either a Law Firm or Service Provider
- Ability to effectively manage technical and quality issues with eDiscovery and litigation support providers
- Excellent team work skills and strong client-service orientation
- Advanced knowledge of platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, LiveNote, TextMap, IPRO, CaseMap, Equivio, and LAW Pre-discovery
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective internal and external client relationships
- Occasional travel may be required
