Requirements
Top Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in network engineering
- Telecom-specific experience with RPHY, DAA, and/or DOCSIS
- Hardware they should have experience with (not all is necessary, but combo): Cisco cBR-8 (Converged Broadband Router), Casa C100G, CommScope ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router, Adtran SDX 6210
- Route / Switch experience with Cisco Network Convergence System 5500 Series (NCS-55A1 and (NCS-57B1)
- Experience with Pebble Remote DAA Device - Pebble-1 and Pebble-2 (these are called RPDs)
- Experience with spine-leaf architecture
Plusses:
- DOCSIS
- Juniper - moving away from Juniper, but it still exists in the environment
- PON (Passive Optical Network)
o Vecima 7360 ISAM FX platform
o Entra SF-4X Access Node
o Adtran 9516
