Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a non-profit organization. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for approximately 580 employees, primarily hourly, with some salaried staff.

• Process biweekly payroll with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Audit payroll data and work with department managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and assist with posting payroll to the general ledger.
• Manage wage adjustments, stipends, and supplemental payments, including evaluation period increases and provider bonuses.
• Assist with benefits administration, including 403(b) plan reconciliation and reporting.
• Prepare payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Support payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and comfortable working in a dynamic payroll environment with frequent wage adjustments and special payments. Experience with union payroll and healthcare industry payroll is a plus.
