Sr. FP&A Coordinator

Beacon Hill Financial is working with a dynamic, growth-oriented organization in Washington, DC. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. FP&A Coordinator to join this team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will provide insightful analysis and support decision-making for various business operations. This role will focus on financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to enhance the company's financial performance and growth.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct deep dive analyses into financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the annual budget process by working with departments to create detailed forecasts and financial models.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of budget performance, ensuring all departments are aligned with financial targets.
  • Update financial forecasts regularly to reflect changes in market conditions and business strategy.

• Financial Modeling & Strategy

  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, investments, or product launches.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity tests to assess potential financial outcomes.
  • Assist with strategic planning and decision-making by providing data-driven financial insights.

• Cost Management & Financial Control

  • Analyze and track operational expenses, identifying cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Help implement financial controls and processes to enhance financial accuracy and compliance across departments.
  • Monitor cash flow, ensuring efficient management of working capital.

• Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, sales, etc.) to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Prepare presentations for senior leadership, summarizing key financial insights and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
