Position Summary:
A major Fortune 200 Company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their quickly expanding team in their Philadelphia office. This position will work closely with other departments to manage various accounting responsibilities and operates on a very flexible hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily tasks related to the month-end close process
- Work with upper management to resolve disrepencies and improve processes
- Prepare month-end closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
- Produce and report Financial Statements including analysis
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and cash management activities
- Collaborate with the accounting team with minimal supervision
- Prepare schedules and analyses
- Assist with auditing to ensure a smooth process for the team
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and manage time efficiently
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- 2 years of experience in public accounting
- CPA is a plus
