As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. What does the Licensed Professional Counselor do? (including but not limited to) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to) Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findingsProvide individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalitiesUtilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote client engagement and motivation for changeCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clientsMonitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as neededProvide case management services, including referrals to community resources and support servicesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progressStay informed about current research and best practices in the field of outpatient therapyExperience : Keeps abreast of mental health and therapy trends and knowledge. QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience as an Outpatient Therapist or similar roleGraduate degree in counseling (or related field) from an accredited university / collegeProficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventionsExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other mental health conditionsMust be licensed by the State where your hiring facility is located.Physical Demands : This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination.
